Raw Bones

BONES, BONES, BONES!

Raw bones are an essential part of your dog's diet providing important minerals for their own healthy bones and teeth. Dogs are meant to chew on lots of bones and they have the digestive enzymes to handle the breakdown of bone material. The exception is the sporting and hunting dogs which are meant to keep a “soft” mouth.

For the rest of our dogs, chewing relieves boredom, stress and anxiety.  Puppies need to chew on bones to help relieve teething pain. Use common sense and supervise your dog while they are chewing on bones.  Do not cook bones.
